Itinerary

Day 1:Cusco – Sacred Valley of the Incas – Aguas Calientes

Your journey begins with hotel pickup in Cusco around 8:00 am. You will travel to the Sacred Valley in a tourist bus, with your first stop at the Pisac Archaeological Complex, where your guide will explain the history of its terraces, temples, and stunning viewpoints.

Next, visit the Pisac handicraft market, famous for its textiles, handmade crafts, and silver jewelry. The tour continues to Urubamba, where you will enjoy a buffet lunch included in the tour.

After lunch, you will head to Ollantaytambo to explore its monumental archaeological site, known for its massive terraces and ancient Inca structures.

In the afternoon, you will board the Expedition or Voyager train to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy free time to explore the town before resting for your Machu Picchu visit the next morning.

Day 2:Machu Picchu – Cusco

Early in the morning, after breakfast at the hotel, you will take the bus that ascends the mountain to the entrance of Machu Picchu, the crown jewel of the Inca civilization. After passing the control gate, your guided tour begins, lasting over two hours. Explore iconic landmarks such as the Guardian’s House, Temple of the Sun, Intihuatana, Temple of the Three Windows, Sacred Plaza, Condor Temple, and the Sacred Rock.

After the guided visit, enjoy free time to walk around, take photos, or simply absorb the mystical energy of the citadel. When ready, take the bus back to Aguas Calientes for lunch (not included).

In the afternoon, you will board the train back to Ollantaytambo. Your transport will be waiting to take you back to Cusco, concluding your unforgettable 2-day adventure.
